A three winged detached house on the shore of lake Porovesi in central Finland. The house allows for an uninterrupted 245 degree view of the lake. The spatial concept follows the cycle of the sun. In the morning the sun shines warming up the patios of the bedrooms. Next the sun shines on the kitchen and the dining area. By mid day it lights up the living room and in the evening one can enjoy the sunset laying down in the jacuzzi of the sauna. The house is built entirely of wood. The exterior is clad with untreated siberian larch and the interior with whitened spruce.

Project status: Completed 2016
